My family and I are adopting three little girls who are from this exact quarry. We are hoping to be able to travel to Uganda this summer at some point. I had heard recently from our agency director that the quarry had been bought out and the workers were going to be without jobs or a place to live (I wouldn't call it a home). We are desperate to help in some way. If you have any information about this and what the situation is at this point I would love to know as soon as possible. We are having a meeting this Sat. 4/18 to brainstorm ideas with a few others who are also passionate about making life better for these people. My email is jenmckim@hotmail.com. I am so hopeful that you will contact me soon! This has been on my heart for quite some time.
